National Novel Writing Month is over! My final total, my fimfic's count, is 32,227 words. Since my original goal was only 30k, I'm pretty pleased with myself for having such a productive month! I finished two chapters of Synchrony and three Sunset in Ponyville, just like planned, and got in about a page worth on another chapter of Synchrony.

Well, I finally managed to find the time to write again tonight. How anyone manages to get a significant amount of writing done while working is beyond me. I only managed to get 436 words done, which does admittedly finish up the non-diary portion of the Sunset chapter. I should hopefully be able to finish it off tomorrow.

So. Yeah. Progress was made. More progress to follow. I hope all of you have been good, and continue to be good.

Well, I managed to get another 1,044 words written for the chapter tonight. I'm pretty happy about that, obviously, especially since it should be only one or two more writing sessions before it's done.

Not a whole lot to report today - progress on Sunset in Ponyville proceeds at a slow but steady pace, and I'm feeling good about it. 593 words today, putting the chapter at 2,678.

Today was not as productive as I would have liked, but even so I managed to write 908 words for the chapter - putting it at 3,096 total currently. It, and it's central conversation, are progressing fairly smoothly. It's been interesting, in a few respects, trying to work out the finer details of it - motivations, reactions, that sort of thing.

Well, while I'm somewhat uncertain that I ended it on exactly the right note, I have finished writing chapter 16 of Synchrony just as I expected. Not only that, but the 653 words I put in today put the (current) word total at 5,949 - meaning that I was technically off in my prediction from the 15th, but not by much.

Another relatively low-productivity day for me. 563 words written for Sunset puts the chapter at 3,241 in total, and I've just hit an interesting point that may very well be the midpoint of the chapter. Nothing else to say right now, I'm pretty tired. I hope you're all doing well!

Welp, didn't end up being nearly as productive today as I wanted - only wrote 696 words. I advanced the chapter, at least, and I also figured out exactly what the next chapter is gonna have to entail, so it's not all bad. The chapter now sits at 5,648 words, still on the cusp of completion.

Well, I finally managed to finish off chapter 12 of Sunset. It only needed 197 words to round it out at 6,880 total, but it still took longer to do than I would have liked. I still haven't adapted well to my much more limited amount of free time, so...

Sometime this week I'll get chapter 11 sent out to be edited. But other than that... my next stretch of writing time is gonna be devoted to my non-pony story, so it'll probably be some time before another blog post.

Hey all! Sorry for no update yesterday, got kinda busy/tired. But these past two days did allow me to get a decent outline for the next chapter of Sunset in Ponyville finished, as well as write the first 434 words for it. It's not much, I know, but it's a start.

I'm hoping to get much more done tomorrow, so wish me luck!

Well, I managed to get 682 words written today at least. Also, I'm pretty sure I'm in the final stretch of the chapter, so there's a chance it'll get finished in the next couple days and I'll be able to start getting the tenth chapter of Sunset ready for publishing. As always, I'll keep you all updated.

Well, I only managed 599 words today. Managed to get through a couple of scenes, though. And all that's left of the chapter should be one more short scene, and then the closing diary entry. So that's good, at least. I'm just not sure when exactly I'll be able to write next. Maybe I'll find the time to get a little bit done the next two days...

Another productive day working on Sunset! I wrote 1,288 words for the chapter, putting it at 2,188 total so far. The focus of today's writing, and indeed the chapter, was an... awaited meeting, let's say, and the conversation that naturally springs from it. It's been something I've been looking forward to, so I was happy to finally get to it.

Jeez it's been awhile, hasn't it? January hasn't been the most... productive month for me in terms of writing, but now that I've finally gotten past the ninth chapter of Synchrony I think maybe things will look up for me? So. It's been, uh, nearly a week since I last posted. Sorry about that. But last Thursday I got my wisdom teeth removed (the procedure was... mostly smooth), and I just haven't really felt up to writing since then. Not because I was doped up on pain meds or anything, I've only been on ibuprofen (and an antibiotic) all this time. I just didn't really have the energy to write.
